Happy Thanksgiving!

Uniqlo Heat Tech shirt, bebe maxi skirt, bebe mesh spike statement necklace - similar here, h&m swallow stretch belt - similar here

Hello and happy Black Friday!! Today's post details what I wore for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday :)

When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of autumn leaves and all of the beautiful colors of the season and this skirt was the first piece that came to mind. I am in love with maxi skirts, they are beyond comfortable, easy to wear, and they dress up any outfit. I paired it with one of Uniqlo's heat tech shirts, so warm and comfortable. The technology is truly amazing and will help keep you warm on even the coldest of winter nights. To make the look more cohesive I wore my h&m swallow stretch belt and completed the look with my mesh and spike necklace from bebe. I love the necklace because it's unique in design and is both silver and gold so it goes with all of my jewelry.

While this is the season to dress up for family get togethers, it is the time spent with loved ones that truly makes this time of year special. Treasure the moments you spend with friends and family, even beyond the holiday season so that you have memories for a lifetime :)

The Visit: Dressing Up a Jumpsuit

bebe jumpsuit, H&M blazer also seen here, bebe necklace seen here, Kelly & Katie heels also seen here

Hello my lovely readers! In today's post I am all dressed up for a big visit! As I've mentioned before, I work in retail and today a group from corporate was supposed to visit. For this occasion I wanted to choose something a little outside of my comfort zone that I could experiment with. The focus of the look, this super fitted jumpsuit with mesh cutouts. In all honesty I would normally walk past something like this, but after seeing it on a client I knew I had to give it a try. The look is beyond comfortable because it's made from a ponte, a fabric I've grown to love since interning with designers in the city. To make the look more refined, and to step away from the catsuit look, I paired it with my favorite H&M blazer, a fringe necklace to cover the mesh neckline, and simple black heels. I'm planning on using this jumpsuits for one of my birthday outfits in the upcoming months!

What are your opinions on jumpsuits and how do you like to style them? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!!! <3

Styling Sweats: Loungewear Done Right

H&M blazer, bebe topUniqlo sweatpants, vintage necklace, Call It Spring shoes - also seen here

Hello all! My apologies for being MIA this past week, but I'm back and ready to blog! Today's outfit post is a quick going out look I threw together that'll keep you warmer during these cooler months. You might be questioning my use of the term "warmer" since I'm shamelessly wearing a crop top, but believe it or not this outfit does exactly that. These lounge pants from Uniqlo, while light, definitely keep my legs nice and toasty and despite the length of the crop top, it's made from a knit so it's basically a mini sweater. To add some structure to this look, I paired my white H&M blazer. ;I completed the look with my basic black booties and a vintage necklace that belonged to my grandmother.

I hope you like the look! Tell me all about how you stay warm and chic during these winter months in the comments below! As always, thanks for reading!!

The Most Frightening Time Of The Year: Halloween!

Hello to all of my lovely readers! I am terribly sorry for the delay in this post BUT there is reason behind it! As I mentioned in my last post, I wanted to show you all something Halloween related, that being my costumes. I didn't wear my second costume until last night when I went to the Misfits show so unfortunately my post was delayed.

Before you I have two movie inspired costumes, the first being Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange. The costume was simple enough to wear to work and I still got to play around with makeup, plus nothing beats a cult classic inspired look. For my second costume I was inspired by the bride of Frankenstein, but to increase the intensity of the costume I made my skin green like Frankenstein's monster. The result, in my opinion, is the birth-child of the two post-mortem creatures. In the last photo you see my from who I helped create this werewolf makeup look.

I hope you all had a wonderfully spooktacular Halloween! Let me know what you dressed up as in the comments below! And to those of you still going out for the rest of the weekend, stay safe and have fun!
