Game Day Style

Game Day Style

Game Day Style by fashionalli featuring white sneakers

Game day is all about supporting your team, but it doesn't mean that you have to blend in with the crowd.

Of course you need your team gear - like this classic hat from Fanatics.com They have all of your game day needs from traditional caps to the newest fitteds. Being from the tri-state area, and working in the big apple, I had to style a Yankees cap. I love the classic look of this hat - it makes me think of traditional American baseball (hence the red, white and blue theme).

This entire look is a balance between the feminine and masculine. I paired a white sleeveless shirt with a plaid button down that can be tied around the waist for a more grungy flair. Of course you need to wear your most comfortable boyfriend jeans to truly relax at the game and some white high tops are a great touch.

For a long day at the field you will definitely need a cute bucket bag to hold all of your necessities. And a matching leather snap bracelet makes the look a bit more cohesive. The last touch to complete the look is some red lipstick. Now I know between all of the food and drinks it may come off, but how can you not love a classic red lip for a chic all American day at the fields.

Sunday's Are Fore Sundresses

Dress :: Loft

As the sun shines bright and the weather warms up, it's finally time to pull out all of your brightly colored dresses. The transition from spring into summer is probably one of my favorite times of year. It's finally warm enough to start pulling out your summer clothes but you still have the fun of layering. While I didn't layer this look, there are so many ways to make it a touch more elegant or a bit more casual.

On this Sunday I had just attended my friends engagement party. A structured and fun colored dress is a great way to embrace the seasonal change but still be dressed appropriately for the occasion. Having just come back from a vacation in Tennessee I was still feeling the country vibe, but a bit more NYC chic - hence the booties paired with the dress. The supplice back makes this otherwise covered dress a bit more playful - who doesn't love a little peak of skin!
