Live Love Loft

Blouse :: Loft
Pants :: Loft
Flats :: Loft similar style here

I'm kind of obsessed to this head to toe Loft look I wore to work last week so I wanted to give you the proper details in a blog post. (p.s. if you haven't noticed, my wardrobe is slowly being taken over by Loft)

I wasn't sure about this soft chambray shirt initially because I have a ton of chambray already. After wearing it out, I am in love(maybe all of the hearts had something to do with it haha)! This is probably one of the most comfortable, put together looks I've ever worn to work. The pants are stretchy which makes them great for running around, and the fit is my favorite one that Loft has to offer. While they generally tend to have a straight fit pant, this skinny fit is fantastic because it's figure flattering and cropped so you can show off whatever shoe's you're wearing.

Windowpane Plaid

Sweater :: Loft
Jeans :: Loft similar cut different wash here
Shoes :: Zigi Soho similar here
Necklace :: Loft
Watch :: bebe similar style here

One of my favorite things about fall is sweaters. This boxy cropped sweater from Loft features a windowpane plaid print (have I mentioned that plaid is one of my favorite prints).

I love the cut and fit of this top. Despite the fact that it has a lot of volume, the cropped cut lets you pair it with a more relaxed fit denim.

I paired the look with my Zigi Soho cut out booties because I'm not quite ready to give up on summer yet lol

And like I've mentioned before, don't be afraid to pair navy with black. All of my life I was taught that these two colors can't go together, but when done in the right way they make a perfect pair. Here, black and gold accessories further play up the beautiful and bold navy and red print.

Want It Wednesday: MissGuided Fall Finds

MissGuided Fall Wants

I was first introduced to MissGuided around midsummer when I saw my friend in a cute long sleeved romper. They have a huge and affordable selection with some unique styles. Personally, I'm loving their coat options for fall. The baby blue faux fur coat is a great way to bring pastels into autumn.

The grey high waisted pants are fantastic, I love the cut and fit. It hits the body in all the right places while still giving you a funky loose fit.

Last but not least is the plaid blazer I selected. You can never go wrong with plaid, but instead of going for your usual button down, a blazer is a more sophisticated way to rock the look.

Customized Bomber ft. eShakti

Bomber Jacket :: c/o eShakti
Tank Top :: Forever 21
Jeans :: bebe similar here
Heels :: BCBGeneration similar here

Have you ever had an issue while shopping, trying to find the perfect fit item that you're absolutely obsessed with? I know more often than not I'll love an item on the hanger, but something about how it sits on my body may not be right.

Obviously this is part of shopping 101, try on EVERYTHING, but what are you supposed to do when you can't? eShakti has a great selection of clothing that you can customize in both cut and fit so you know you'll love an item the second you see it.

When selecting an item, you can adjust things such as the neckline (whether you want a vneck, boat neck etc) as well as inputting your personal measurements to guarantee the perfect fit. I've linked this bomber to their website, and you'll notice that on the mannequin it hits at the waist. I prefer longer jackets but was so in love with the print and knew that if the length was adjusted it would be perfect. I also gave my measurements just to make sure that the jacket didn't sit awkwardly on me.

Now that I actually have the jacket, I am beyond thrilled. While I do wish that it was a bit warmer for the cold months ahead, the website does give specifics such as fabric content. I just knew I needed this jacket even if it's getting too chilly to wear on it's own, it's definitely great to have around the office.

Thank you so much eShakti for this lovely sample and be sure to click the links above to check out their selection!

Autumn Eve

 Dress :: Loft
Boots :: Sam Edelman
Watch :: bebe similar here and here

The weather is changing way too fast! Suddenly it feels like fall when it was 90 degrees just a few days ago, but you don't have to give up your favorite summer styles just yet. High boots can make any shorter outfit more comfortable as the temperatures drop.

As much as I wish summer could stay, I love wearing fall colors like this mustard yellow. A small print and piping makes this dress fun for a weekend out or even appropriate for work because it's not too loud. I have to say that my favorite detail is the piping. It makes a traditional look more interesting without going overboard.

Denim on Denim on Denim

Denim Top :: Gap similar here
Tank Top :: PacSun
Jeans :: Loft similar style
Heels :: Vince Camuto similar style here

With this outfit, I was looking for a different way to style my second day hair. Having curly hair means that you really shouldn't wash it every day because it needs the oils and is already basically damaged. In an attempt to get creative, I went with some heidi braids and a good ol Canadian tuxedo.

Weekend Wants: New Fall Fashions

Hello lovelies!

My apologies for not being around much these last few weeks, but New York Fashion Week has gotten the best of me. With a runway show the first day of MBFW I was working endless hours BUT now I have a bit of time to get back into blogging.

With a little more time for myself, I took some time to peruse a few online shops and couldn't help but fall in love with Jaci Boutique's newest pieces (and the fabulous new look on their website)! I'll definitely be snagging some of these for fall, especially those high waisted jeans!

And don't forget, you can get 20% off at Jaci Boutique with the code found on the right panel of my page :)
